30 Hour Famine

Starts: May 20, 2016 at 4:00 pm
Ends: May 21, 2016 at 6:00 pm

St Paul’s Youth will participate in the 30 Hour Famine http://30hourfamine.org/.

During this weekend, we will be going for 30 hours without food, as we divide into tribes and compete with each other in games designed to drive home the challenges that many face around the world on a daily basis. We will be building a tent city on the front lawn of the church to dramatize what is taking place inside the church, and we will be doing a canned food drive to benefit St. Paul’s Food Pantry as we meet the local needs of our community AND raise funds to help out globally. We will end our Famine with a meal at the church Saturday evening. The event is aimed at Youth Grades 6-12, but ALL are encouraged to participate in some capacity!
